While taking photographs of Foster Falls, a 60-foot tall waterfall at the South Cumberland State Park…

…I noted this interesting fossil: a piece of wood once imbedded in a 3-foot long slab of rock on shore.
A roomful of bowed boards provide tension to support drywall ceiling tiles while adhesive mastic dries. Getting from one side of the room to the other was somewhat of a challenge, requiring agility, frequent turns, and, occasionally, repositioning boards accidentally dislodged.
Time To Decorate
When your exterior walls look like this, it’s time to sand, prime and paint your house.
Interior walls are different, but need attention, too. Perhaps this rough image might serve as an appealing contrast with an otherwise finished space in your home. If so, then consider a print.
This exercise in symmetry began as a photograph of randomly shaped cut logs strewn haphazardly in a pile of firewood. Following an extensive reorganization by a band of wild beavers, I added some finishing touches. It’s available on many products in my shops at Redbubble, Society 6 and Fine Art America. See samples below.

(more…)This close-up photograph features the edges of several repurposed wooden planks I acquired, after cutting boards to make a coffee table out of an old bed frame. I uploaded this picture to my gallery at Fine Art America where guests can review a plethora of products, including: prints (framed, canvas, art, acrylic, metal, wood), greeting cards, throw pillows, tote bags, shower curtains and phone cases. Enjoy!
