Regarding lawn care, homeowners commonly experience procrastination. And that’s understandable, after all, as hours on the weekend represent more valuable time. By the same token, it’s also true that most people are happier with the appearance of well cared for yards.

So, I’ve come up with a nifty solution for this dilemma by inventing a new product, which combines the technology of a metal detector with a weed whipper. This way, I can keep my lawn looking good and at the same time make some spare change on the side!

It was a comfortable three weeks beyond my annual ironing day when I discovered that one of my five shirts was missing a button. Steamed, I grudgingly set about to undertake the dreaded process of repair – finding time and a spare button, scissors, needle and thread.

After what seemed like an eternity, I secured a new button snugly into place and donned my shirt. Despite efforts to closely follow directions, however, it quickly became apparent that things had gotten all fouled up…

How could I have sewn the button on the left side of my shirt?!

Rather than start over, undoing everything I’d already accomplished, I chose instead to simply cut another buttonhole into the other side of my shirt – after all (I thought), once it’s buttoned, who’ll know the difference?

Today, under the burden of inflation, everyone is trying to save money. In fact, I’ve gone as far as to stop washing my coffee cup! As a result, it’s become very stained. Yet, looking at the bright side of things, I’m now only making coffee half as often – every other day, I simply fill my cup with hot water to bring out the flavor…

    We Are Not Alone

In a remote field at night, the silhouette of trees from a mysterious glow signaled the presence of visitors from another dimension…or so it seemed. Watching intensely from a safe distance, the light began to move slowly in my direction, shadows widening with each passing moment.

Then, it dawned on me – why would I be outside in a field at this late hour? In searching for an answer, I happened to spot movement in my peripheral field and quickly shifted toward a faintly illuminated object. In disbelief, suspended in midair before me, I observed a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie! Eyes wide open, I hopped out of bed and went to the kitchen for a late night snack.
