    Poem for a Friend

This haiku was inspired by a lovely woman and good friend, Annabel. She’s a professional dancer & choreographer, and also a gifted poetess. I encourage guests to visit her web site to enjoy her creative writings – thanks very much!

    Melting snow from mountain peaks

  • Words of Inspiration

    Words of Inspiration

After reading “Lost In Time And Space” – a poem by my friend & writer Carla Milho – I was inspired and responded by writing the following poem…

    In the depths of despair
    When time had no hands
    Her clothes tattered and torn.

    She questioned, “why me”?
    Searching deep in her soul
    Found hope and love reborn.

    Now upright with courage
    Each step purposeful
    The Red Warrior roams free.

    Named Carla Milho
    Her friends celebrate
The life which has come to be.

  • Evening Downtown

    Evening Downtown

This textured abstract design depicts columns of city buildings with the fading light of dusk reflecting across many windows. I’ve added it to my galleries, here:

The idea for this design came about yesterday, when I thought I’d experiment with photographs of doors or windows in a layered collage. So, today I visited Pexels and discovered this free photograph (below) by Samuel Wölfl.

Rather than a collage, I instead used this single photograph with Adobe Photoshop to create the featured image, Evening Downtown.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  • Rushing Water

    Rushing Water

Peering out over the edge of a wooden barrel on the verge of plummeting 15 feet down a waterfall, I questioned the wisdom of my decision to accept a challenge from friends…lol. Actually, this photograph was taken at the Barton Dam in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I added it to my gallery at Fine Art America today, so drop in for a visit sometime…
