Located in the Cherokee National Forest at Tellico Plains, Tennessee, this is the 30-foot tall Conasauga Falls, as seen from a vantage point downstream. It would look great as an accent piece on a wall at home.

Here is another photograph of the scenic Conasauga Falls, located near Tellico Plains, Tennessee. With the water low, I was able to make my way downstream to capture this distant view. I was on site early in the morning, so there were no other people present during my visit. You can visit these galleries to see fine prints and more…
Conasauga Falls stand approx. 30-feet tall and is located near Tellico Plains, Tennessee, within the Cherokee National Forest. The park road is three miles long and unimproved. In fact, since my first visit in 2019, it has noticeably deteriorated. Without repair, it may soon be restricted to 4-wheel drive vehicles. The trail is generally well-groomed on a steady, downward slope, with the last section rather rocky. Because the water was low during my visit, I was able to explore some distance downstream and will upload more photographs in the days to come.

Adjacent to the Tellico River in eastern Tennessee, Bald River Falls stands an impressive 90-feet tall and consistently has a decent flow of water. I shot this photograph of white water rapids from down an embankment, slightly upstream of where Bald River Falls feeds into the Tellico River, in Tennessee. You can discover several fine prints available to accent a wall in your home, or workplace, when you visit these galleries: Pixels, Redbubble and ArtPal. Thanks!
I shot this photograph upstream from Baby Falls, along the Tellico River in the Cherokee National Forest of eastern Tennessee. As seen on the large boulder in the river, as well as in the second photograph included, river rocks often have hollow carve-outs. On site, there were dozens visible in and under the water, as well as along the shore – some measuring approx. 4-feet in diameter.
This is caused over time when a smaller rock consisting of a harder mineral substance becomes caught in a depression or crevasse. Water from the river continually moves the smaller rock within this space, until it bores a hole into the larger rock.
Anyway. The featured image is available in my galleries at ArtPal and Pixels. If you’d be interested in a print, then stop by to check it out. Thanks!

Prints available. While driving along River Road, which follows the contours of the Tellico River, I noticed an area over the guard rail and down an embankment which appeared as a vantage point from which to photograph the river. Following my chaotic descent – really, a controlled slide down a steep 25-foot hillside with shallow, damp topsoil – this is what I photographed. Thanks for stopping by!
