  • New York Glass

As a child with a hobby of collecting old bottles, this vintage glass was unearthed during the 1970’s while digging near a haunted house in Marquette, Michigan. Photo One is a small bottle from the Napier Chemical Company in New York, and has an air bubble in the glass. Photo Two is a taller bottle from the Black Cat Polish Company in Buffalo, New York, and to this day retains much of its original cork. See more in my gallery.

  • Poem for a Friend

    Poem for a Friend

I wrote this poem for a friend in India, Mukti Masih – a Christian, chai-totaler, published poetess, freelance writer, business Head of Content, and, someone who inspires me. I encourage you to visit her web site.

    If I were married
    With kids and a lot
    I’d wish for someone
    Who has what she’s got

    A thoughtful woman
    Beautiful and smart
    Who cherishes God
    Through faith in her heart

    So splendid the words
    In poems wrapped with love
    And hope, which she shares
    Endowed from above

    She’s a role model
    By the name Mukti
    Writing with impact
    Professionally

    Please visit her site
    Your company, too
    For content that works
    Perspective anew
