Creative. Prolific. Often underdressed.
Hi, I’m Phil Perkins, a photographer and graphic artist living in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. Welcome to my creative space on the web! Here, you’ll discover an eclectic collection of unusually imaginative designs & stunning landscape photography.

I operate several shops through various print on demand outlets, where my pictures are applied to a line of unique products. To see more, visit these shops: Pixels, Redbubble, ArtPal, Zazzle, Cafepress, Tee Public, ArtFlakes and Fine Art America.

With my art and graphic designs, I use Affinity Photo, Bryce, Filter Forge and sometimes Adobe Photoshop creative software.
I have a full frame Nikon Z6ii mirrorless camera, and, in addition to Affinity Photo, I also use DxO PureRaw 3 to develop RAW photographs, as well as Nik Collection 6 plugins for post processing.
My lenses include a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 20mm f/1.8G ED Lens (with a Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter) & Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens. Recently, I’ve added a simple lens mount adapter in order to experiment with older film-lenses, including: Vivitar Series 1 90mm f/2.5 Macro; Vivitar 100-200 f/4 Close Focusing Auto Zoom; and, RMC Tokina 28-85mm f/4 Zoom.

Fine prints are available for a variety of living spaces – for yourself, or to give as a gift!

Awards. Hungry to compete, I took First Place in a pie eating contest circa 1974. Even today, locals reminiscence about the speed with which I devoured deserts at a young age ~ I’ve never seen anything like it!

Moving from Michigan, Tennessee has mountains and fewer road biking areas. As such, I’ve discovered and really enjoy hiking. I’ve included a page of my favorite photographs from different places I’ve visited, which you might enjoy viewing.
Or, if you like the sport of disc golf, checkout some of my disc golf stories. You might also enjoy posts about my close encounter with bears, an Irish riddle, an adventure at Paine Creek, a fitness flashback, my Grateful Dead road trip and/or a mind reading trick.

My web site is hosted through wordpress.com. Presently, I’m using a free theme entitled Heiwa, a modern and minimalist FSE (full site editing) theme which supports use of block patterns. And, I have a premium plan membership.
