This poem was written for Holly Hunter, a beautiful woman and talented poetess hailing from Florida. She’s a frequent source of my inspiration, a dear friend and someone whose company I truly appreciate. Please visit her site at House of Heart to enjoy her creative writings – thank you!
On astral winds She drifts sublime Across a starlit sky Southern beauty - Floridian The apple of my eye Her waves of red Long, lustrous hair Accentuate delight Her gorgeous smile Spreads happiness Warming my heart at night A cosmic trail Illuminates The path with which I'll flow So, if one day She welcomes me Two hearts, as one, may grow
