Vintage Farm Wagon

This black and white photograph was taken at the historic John P. Cable Grist Mill, located in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee at Cades Cove, a community established by European settlers within a verdant valley, in 1818.

You can find prints and other items available in my galleries at Pixels and ArtPal.

  3. I LOVE THIS!! It’s sooo beautiful! The shows, the way the light comes through the spaces between the wall boards. And it’s a treasure! Imagine the roads it traveled, how it sounded as it bumped over the rough dirt or through shallow puddles…and the horses who pulled it…wow. 👏👏♥️👏👏🥰

    1. Both the wagon and I thank you for your wonderful words, dear Robin! I know you would enjoy Cades Cove, where there are several very old and perfectly preserved structures – farms and otherwise – which make for an excellent tour. Have a great day, my friend! 🤗🌹
