So, where exactly did these Zombies come from?
In 2006, I was visiting Marquette – in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan – and took a photograph (below) of a flagstone wall which I climbed in my youth. I later used pieces from this picture to create this character.

These particular zombies aren’t that scary.
That’s true, and there are consequences. Being a zombie without the “scare factor” makes it difficult to find work – after all, who wants to hire a zombie for a scary movie when they don’t frighten anyone? 😂
They can work in comedic type movies. Check out Warm Bodies, a zombie movie from the zombie perspective.
hahaha Perhaps, though to blend in as less obtrusive, they may need a cinematic adjustment to accommodate for their rather comic design. I’ll have to check with the creative dept.. 😝
I’m sure they’ll get along well with people more than other zombies because of their friendlier appearance.
You’re probably right, dear Vanya. It’s also helpful that these zombies are ‘mineralitarians’ (they only eat rocks 😋) and this should diminish safety concerns for staff members on the production crew.
Hmm. Rock eating zombies. Need to keep them away from rock gardens.
