Poem: Rain of Rings

A fading sun did set
As twilight came to call
With darkness quickening
Nighttime began to fall

A ceiling formed
High overhead
With shadows cast
Reflections spread

Through clouds, a rain of rings
Dropped down across the sky
In streams of shining gold
As starlight, passing by
