Poem in Response

Having read “Every Little Thing’s Gonna Be Alright” by a talented poetess and dear friend from California, Cindy Georgakas – wherein she interweaves beautiful imagery with hopeful, endearing assurances – I was inspired to write this poem…

She sloshes in galoshes
Wading ankle-deep into memories

Fond reflections splashed with love
Buoy her spirits, like a summer breeze

Some people are only good at one thing – you are good at so many. And Seals & Crofts – “My Fair Share” one of the best songs in the world.
