Shots from the Foothills

Enjoy this progression of photographs as the morning sun crests mountain peaks, as seen from scenic overlooks along the Foothills Parkway, near Wears Valley, Tennessee. You can visit my gallery to find prints available.

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Right on, Harshi, with only the sound of birds in the trees, and an occasional car once every 5 minutes or so. Very peaceful, indeed. 🤗🌹

    1. Yes, so peaceful and beautiful. I always enjoy traveling to watch the day begin from these scenic overlooks…very few people, many birds, and, rarely, a family of bears. I appreciate your visit, dear Indira ~ have a happy Sunday! 🤗🌹

    1. Thank you, Louise ~ I’m glad you like it! It’s a 50 minute drive and only 10 minutes more to enjoy rivers, waterfalls and the forest. While it’s not easy to know how a sunrise will unfold, particularly with mountains influencing the movement of low-weather systems, I do like to drive up the Foothills Parkway mornings, to have a look. Have a nice week ahead, my friend 🙂

  1. This collection is impossibly sublime! I’m sure the view would be magnificent to see in person! 🏔🪷Thank you for your kind sharing, Phil!😃😜

    1. To share a smile, particularly with someone so lovely as you, dear Annabel, makes my day! 😃 I’m glad you enjoyed the view, and wish for you a terrific Tuesday! 🪷
