Falling Water and Moss

Like a Rainforest

Everything is covered in moss, wet and slippery. Hiking at the base of Great Falls – at the Rock Island State Park, on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee – I found myself constantly wiping the camera lens to keep it clear and dry.

Pictured here is a tall cliff located to the side of the most forward waterfall (there are three). You can visit my galleries to discover great print options and other items featuring my photography, here:

Thanks so much, dear Mary. It’s a beautiful park, and, by virtue of an abundance of moss and moisture, seems like a rainforest. Have a nice day 🙂

Thanks very much, Tiffany! This area is almost like a rainforest, with moss everywhere you look (and step). Have a great day, my friend! 😍
