Haiku

Based on her comment regarding my recent visit to the Blue Ridge Parkway, in North Carolina, the talented & lovely Arizonian poetess – Michele Lee Sefton – provided inspiration for me to write this poem:

Morning in Mountains

Drawn to dawn of day
Nature reveals her beauty
Rejoice in warm love

  1. This haiku of yours Phil fits this setting perfectly. 🌄 Michele certainly has a way to inspire through her poetry, especially surrounding nature doesn’t she? 🏜 How lovely my dear friend! I loved your reflections of an early morning sunrise. It is indeed warm love! 💖 💘 💝

  2. A lovely haiku by a talented Tennessean. Phil, your photo deserves the credit for the poetic inspiration, but thank you for your kind and generous mention. 🌞 🙏🏼

    • You’re certainly most welcome, my friend. It’s always easier for me to write poetry when inspired, and, honestly, the photograph was an afterthought. I thank you, Michele. 🪄✨✍🏼🌞🌹😘
