Black and White

Cascades and Reflections

These cascades are located upstream from Savage Falls, at the South Cumberland State Park in Tennessee.

After a recent rain, an abundant flow of water generated a mist, which, when combined with a lingering morning fog, added to this scenic atmosphere.

There’s a lot to enjoy in this black and white photograph, including the reflection of trees in foreground puddles.

Prints are available – come by and see.

Everything about this frame is gorgeous. I bet it looks similar in colour too, like nature’s black and white.

Thanks very much, dear Paula! Yes, the beauty of this area shines in color, as well. Like many such places, timing matters and the volume of water present often changes. Have a wonderful 2023! 🙂
