Poem in Response

After reading “Old Mays” by poetess Mukti Masih, of India – where she profoundly conveys the transformative influence of love with memories old and new – I was inspired to write this short poem…

Like the warm glow of moonlight
Illuminating the night

Or, flowers so bountiful
In blossom, so beautiful

May with questions, you receive
The truth you seek, and believe

Your heart light with happiness
Sharing peace and love, God bless

        1. Ah, yes my friend, I enjoy writing and was inspired by the poetry of Mukti Masih. I also have some short stories, and, on occasion, I’ve sought to share humor in posts…though that remains a work in progress. 😂 Wishing you a wonderful day, dear Annabel 🌞🌺
